I Hide In Logic

Sunday, February 28th, 2010

Tonight my world is discreet. I visit logic, where what is not specified does not exist. Here I know what to expect. Problems here have solutions, and solutions are cascades of states and conditions, impossible to comprehend, but verifiable nonetheless. This place is safe.

But it is cold in logic. There is no place for emotion or perception, connotation or implication. There are no ratty teddy bears to clutch or walls to punch. Nobody walks in the rain or shouts at the sky, or climbs a tree just to climb back down. There are no humans here.

Tonight I visit logic, because I need a break from the confusion and the disorder, the flighty whims of extroverts and the infinite secrets of introverts. I need a place that makes sense.

But I’ll be back. It gets lonely here.

They can sense when you’re nervous.

They don’t like it when you’re nervous.

The New Bloggy Bits

Thursday, April 16th, 2009

Over at Not So Random we’re working on a number of large scale changes. One of those involves the website, which has often been a sore spot for us. One thing we’ve decided is necessary for the site to become more professional and credible is the removal of personal blogs. As Not So Random slowly enters the process of becoming a legitimate business, notsorandom.com must reflect that. The website of a legitimate business is simply not an appropriate place for rants, thoughts, observations or other such personal business. (Unless, of course, that is your business. Thanks, Wordpress.)

Which brings me to these here new bloggy bits, my own little corner of the Internet. Consider this territory marked.

Cheers.
